Sales Executive

- Create and maintain excellent relationships with customers at decision-making levels, through highly visible and frequent communication to encourage the client to “choose Bentley” as their preferred partner for product development and sales generation.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to develop technical marketing and trend presentations for clients, attending tradeshows and customer/industry events. Create, manage, and convert customer product development projects and briefs for new launches which is a key element to fuel sales growth
- Actively work with customers and internal personnel in a professional and positive manner to resolve issues and advance the reputation of Bentley as a highly responsive, customer-focused, technology and service solution provider
- Monitor weekly and monthly shipped and open orders, identify barriers, and take action to eliminate them and deliver on targeted monthly revenue for their territory. Generate conservative and stretch annual and quarterly sales forecasts for their territory of customers, built up from historical results, newly launched products, and new development efforts in the pipeline.
- Work with the Sales Director to convert new prospective customer opportunities into tangible new projects and future sales
- Ensure they meet the requirement of our strategy and customer needs
- Understand R&D development processes and database systems, process technologies we employ in the company’s bulk manufacturing and filling areas; while remaining current as advances are made in these area
- Complete understanding of the pipeline of projects in R&D and historical results of approvals, launches, value generation, longevity of new products for assigned customer
- Annual sales growth in excess of 10% while maintaining or improving profitability
- Create strong customer relationships leading to retention and expanded sales
- Build exceptional relationships with Bentley Management, Sales, R&D and Operations team members
- Enhance Bentley’s reputation as an outstanding technology-based supplier
- BS/BA (technology area preferred i.e. engineering, chemistry, biology)
- Proven success in companies with both product development & manufacturing
- 2-5 years of field sales experience
- Track record of delivering sustained sales growth
