Position Overview

This full-time contractor role will be a right-hand person for Corporate Communications. They will work on a two person team and assist/manage the day-to-day corporate communication tasks (both planned and ad hoc) by providing first drafts of internal communications, tracking down approvals, posting final versions to the Loop, providing logistical support for internal video projects and NCF Live, and creating a new online filing system for Corporate Communications projects on Sharepoint by integrating files from Sharefile, DropBox and OneDrive by December 31, 2024. This person should have a working knowledge of Trello and expert PowerPoint skills.

This position is hybrid based out of the office in Alpharetta, GA.

Timeframe: 12-months

Reports to: VP, Public Relations, and Corporate Communications

Management/Supervision: None

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Produce corporate communications content for staff, including Loop posts, NCF Live content and scheduling, executive announcements, HR documents, staff announcements, etc.
  • Write first draft communication posts for events and other corporate announcements.
  • Assist the VP of PR and Corporate Communications with the execution of annual corporate communications plan.
  • Build, collaborate and update Word documents, PowerPoints, and other materials.
  • Maintain and manage Corporate Communications Trello Board of projects
  • Edit and publish events to the Loop corporate calendar, and research and audit items to add or remove on an ongoing basis.
  • Monitor and produce weekly report on media and social media hits.
  • Assist in creating and coordinating stories for PR in conjunction with the editorial team.
  • Manage team projects by driving deadlines, working with stakeholders, updating Trello, and other team systems.
  • Schedule meetings with key stakeholders for communications projects
  • Track and assist with expense report submissions
  • Create and manage files within Sharepoint from Sharefile, Dropbox, and OneDrive
  • Assistance in the completion of Corporate Communications items for balance of 2024 from Corporate Communications Annual Plan (attached)
  • Weekly research and reports for media and social media hits
  • Updated 2024 Corporate Calendar
  • 2025 Corporate Calendar in place on Loop
  • Ad hoc communication projects as needed
  • Completion of file integration from Sharefile, Dropbox, and OneDrive to Sharepoint

Experience, Knowledge Base, And Competencies

  • 7 years of experience in PR and/or Corporate Communications
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • MAC experience preferred
  • Experience in media production preferred
  • Excellent communication
  • Writing and proofing
  • Ability to manage Trello board
  • Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency
  • Ability to assist with multiple projects simultaneously.
