Shipping Pipe Yard Handler

~~Responsibilities include moving material (pipe) with lifts / forklifts, and/or pulling orders, boxing, packing, or creating parts for shipment. Labeling and preparing shipping documents, unloading, or loading trucks (physically demanding job - needs to be able to lift-up to 50 lbs. consistently), verifying freight and shipping documents, verifying quantities, and other general warehouse / order pulling / shipping and receiving duties.

Job Requirements

You must be dependable, responsible, and able to work at a fast pace regardless of daily weather (elements) rain, heat, or cold, and always being able to occupy yourself with new tasks as needed. You must also be a team player with a solid work ethic who is always prompt, on time and committed to maintaining consistent work attendance.

Specific qualifications for the position include:

• Experience operating a forklift for the for at least 6-12 consecutive months.
• Pipe Yard experience (Experience handling Pipe & all other Pipe Product)
• Basic math/counting skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Good, clear visual ability
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Flexibility regarding hours and scheduling including weather elements (rain, heat & cold)
• A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to operate in a team environment that is growth orientated and fast paced
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills as well as proven analytical and problem solving skills - Computer skills a plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• High School Diploma/GED
