Responsible for preparing closing packages for secondary mortgage transactions. This involves a detailed understanding of the mortgage closing balancing process that happens between the mortgage lender and the real estate side of a transaction for all loan types such as FHA, Conventional, THDA and RD. Previous experience in loan closing is a requirement and knowledge of loan documents used from processing and underwriting is preferred. Adheres to compliance with all federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have previous real estate closing experience and knowledge of loan documents used from processing and underwriting. Mortgage, banking, title company or accounting background is a plus. Must also have excellent organizational skills, be detail oriented, and be able to work with a team in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work overtime is required.
