Manufacturing/Plant Manager - Machining (RELO Offered)

We are the lead in North America in custom hydraulic cylinders and are now looking to hire a full time Manufacturing/Plant Manager for our Laurens, IA location (just outside of Sioux Rapids, near Marathon).

Responsibilities

• You will be developing, administering and directing our Hydraulics' manufacturing system
• Direct our manufacturing department and personnel
• Focus on manufacturing plans or process control procedures that will ensure production of finished products, which meet quality specifications and standards
• Manage/lead engineering activities in compliance with established company and manufacturing standards, engineering principles, customer requirements, and related specifications.
• Analyzes, evaluates, and presents information concerning factors such as business situations, production capabilities, manufacturing problems, economic trends, and design and development of new products for consideration by other members of management team.
• Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
• Work with Shop Personnel to achieve goals, production, and efficiency.
  
  

Required

• 5 years working experience in a manufacturing engineering role, specifically Machining
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD/SolidWorks, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement.
• Experience interacting successfully with all levels of the organization, vendors, and customers.
• Green Belt/Black Belt certification is strongly desired but not required
• Bonus points for: Hydraulics / Hydraulic Cylinders
