Managing Broker

Job Description

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Managing Broker. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of the Affordable Housing and Leasing properties, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage a dynamic team.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support real estate agents.
• Oversee the daily operations of the brokerage.
• Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to agents.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients.
• Handle escalated client issues and complaints.
• Review and approve real estate contracts and transactions.
• Oversee all operational responsibilities of the brokerage including the company’s MLS listings and all real estate transactions
• Ensure the brokerage and agents are adhering to all company policies and procedures and abiding by all state and national Fair Housing and real-estate laws
  
  

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in real estate, business administration, or a related field.
• Valid real estate broker license.
• Extensive experience as a real estate agent or broker.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of real estate laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• minimum 7 years real estate sales or broker experience, including 3 years of management experience.
• High level of technical proficiency in real estate contract knowledge.
• Applicants must have HUD experience
• LIHTC Certification, preferred
• Must have experience in Section 8 voucher submission, tax-credit
• Three years of multi-family residential management experience – minimum two years of Subsidized Housing/Section 8
• Knowledge of Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") rules and regulations
• Knowledge of laws and standards that apply to property management, such as Fair Housing Laws, Landlord-Tenant Laws, OSHA Standards, local and state building codes
