Our client in Mentor, OH is in search of a Inventory Specialist Supervisor. #COHPay is $21-$28 a hour1st ShiftLocation in Mentor, OHDescription of Duties: The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for providing direct supervision of all receiving, stocking, kitting, shipping, and other Stores personnel. Key duties include: Ensuring all department positions are staffed with highly motivated and qualified individuals.Managing department personnel to support operations with timely and efficient responses to all requests.Overseeing incoming inspection practices in accordance with the Libra Quality Manual, working with the Quality Department to develop efficient reporting for material and processing quality, and ensuring timely processing of received materials with KPI improvement.Collaborating with the Master Scheduler to ensure a steady flow of material to manufacturing operations, timely and accurate kit processing, and proper handling of returned materials.Ensuring materials are stored in identified locations with consistent practices and developing strategic equipment and process plans for business flow.Providing initial and recurring training for department personnel in accordance with documented work instructions.Maintaining accuracy of inventory for Finished Goods, Subassemblies, Consignment, and Components per the Libra Industries cycle count plan and process.Ensuring daily reconciliation cycle counts are performed accurately.Participating in annual inventory processes, including preparation, planning, and training of personnel.Managing standards for all inventory transactions, including Shipping, Receiving, Kitting, Cycle Counting, Requisition Fulfillment, Stock Purges, NCM, and Material Transfers.Ensuring accurate quantity counts and product movements between routing operations in both the Macola ERP system and physically.Routing the Libra Van for customer and supplies pick-ups, deliveries, and material transfers between Libra facilities as required.Reporting department personnel accurately for the payroll system.Developing and implementing equipment plans for efficient material processing.Providing a safe work environment and safety guidance on all Libra Industries property.Implementing SQCD and 5S meetings to identify critical KPIs and drive improvement projects.Managing other supply chain and operations activities as deemed necessary by management.Education/Experience Required:High School Diploma.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work on cross-functional teams.Proven experience in electronic manufacturing stores management.Effective communication skills.Ability to utilize project tools to lead and drive projects within the organization.Skills/Experience Preferred:Basic knowledge of Windows-based computers, MS Word, and Excel.Experience with Windows-based computer systems and Macola or other similar MRP system software.Experience in designing and developing new store processes to eliminate waste and improve cycle time using Six Sigma/Lean concepts.Work Environment:This position will work in both office and shop environments.In the shop, you will be exposed to airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, machines, and material handling vehicles. PPE is required.Physical Requirements:Good hearing and sight are necessary.Ability to walk the shop floor and lift up to 20 pounds.PandoLogic.
