Your new role

As an Environmental Manager, you will ensure that all environmental requirements are met, managing a broad range of environmental issues associated with complex construction projects. Your role will involve close interaction with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), requiring you to sign off on projects and verify compliance with environmental standards. You will also be responsible for federal and state permitting, liaising with regulatory agencies, and providing expert environmental guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

What you’ll need to succeed

• A New York Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 5-10 years of experience in environmental management, with a focus on transportation or infrastructure projects.
• A Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in navigating federal and New York State permitting processes.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and standards.
