Title: Enterprise Architect

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • In-depth experience in Enterprise Architecture and expert knowledge in various EA frameworks including Federal Enterprise Architecture, Federal Transition Framework, the OMB Enterprise Architecture Assessment Framework, and the GAO Enterprise Architecture Assessment Framework.
  • Proven understanding of data architecture principles.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact and work with executives, management, and technical teams, and strong ability to produce technical work products, such as mandated deliverables to USCB Oversight Agencies, business and IT strategies, executive briefings, architectural guidance, best practices, and technical white papers
  • Hands-on and in-depth experience with creating standards for all components of Enterprise Architecture which includes but not limited to data, technology, and infrastructure.
  • Hands-on and in-depth experience in conducting architectural modeling, defining architectural views and relationships between various components, and knowledge in using architectural modeling tools.
  • Hands-on and in-depth knowledge in various architectural attributes including designing and implementing microservices architecture to ensure scalability, availability, performance, reliability, and interoperability, and experience in evaluating various engineering solutions against the architectural attributes.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes in a Microsoft Azure environment
  • Hands-on and in-depth skills and experience in reviewing architectural and engineering solutions and artifacts, to ensure their compliance with Enterprise Standards and guidelines, and providing advice to project teams on best practices.
  • Hands-on and in-depth knowledge of, and experience with, industry trends and directions; experience in evaluating various technologies against the Enterprise needs; and ability to incorporate into and update Enterprise design patterns and best practices.
  • Senior level experience constructing design patterns for re-usable architectures that accounts for security, scalability, and performances requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years' experience
  • Experience in system architecture may be advantageous.
  • Experience with application of EA Frameworks (e.g., FEAF, DoDAF, TOGAF)
  • Experience applying EA concepts to support the following program management activities
  • Experience applying Solution Architecture to enact transformation projects in Agile environments, to include developing conceptual, logical, and physical architectures
  • Prior experience supporting federal government agencies
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good leadership and motivational skills.
  • Experience in modeling and graphic representations.
  • Ability to maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • MS Azure Solutions Architect Certification (preferred)
