Job Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, your main responsibility includes overseeing the development, implementation, and closure of various projects such as Strategic, Developmental, and CAPEX initiatives.
Key Duties
Ensure plant safety practices are implemented and maintained to promote a safe work environment.
Abide by corporate regulations to execute investment plans efficiently, fostering a competitive edge for NLMK.
Manage projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and meeting functional requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for pre-project studies, project initiation, implementation, and closure.
Liaise with production units to identify and justify new projects.
Work closely with financial and project analysts to provide necessary financial calculations and updates promptly.
Engage with vendors and contractors to procure essential equipment and services at competitive prices through collaboration with the procurement department.
Adhere to corporate standards for file storage and drawings.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including OSHA, EPA/DEP, etc.
Attend and actively participate in required meetings.
Follow company policies outlined in the current Policies & Procedures for Salaried Employees Manual and any applicable amendments.
Qualifications And Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Proficiency in steel manufacturing processes and/or heavy industrial equipment.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering within a steel manufacturing environment or heavy industry.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management.
Ability to collaborate effectively with production, maintenance, engineering, and procurement teams.
Experience working in an international, multilingual company.
Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and file management systems.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Visio.
