About the Role: Dispensary Manager

Nature’s Care Company LLC, an Acreage Holdings Company, is a state-licensed marijuana facility that services licensed medical marijuana patients in the State of Illinois. Acreage Holdings is committed to improve the quality of healthcare for patients using natural, plant-based medicine while maintaining compliance with state regulations. The Dispensary Manager is responsible to ensure the smooth operation of the dispensary facility by overseeing and directing all day-to-day operations and store personnel. The successful candidate will possess outstanding customer service skills, provide problem-solving skills, shows an attention to detail, has strong interpersonal and management abilities, and shows strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills. The Dispensary Manager is responsible for leading and directing the Dispensary Leads, Dispensary Technicians, and other store personnel by ensuring professional growth and development. The job requires proper dispensary practices including, but not limited to, monitoring/evaluating/implementing medication orders, providing patient counseling, following proper labeling of medications and devices, and proper and safe storage of all cannabis products. The Dispensary Manager is also responsible for following all state statutes and regulations while also upholding the mission and values of Acreage Holdings, LLC and ensures that his/her team delivers Member Service Excellence at all times. The Dispensary Manager may work as a Dispensary Lead when needed.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor of Science Degree preferred
  • Able to obtain Agent in Charge license with the IL Dept. of Financial & Professional Regulation
  • At least two years of managerial experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a retail setting

Computers and Technology

  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to learn, navigate and accurately utilize the company’s Point of Sale & Patient data management software systems
  • Familiarity with Google Forms is a plus

Schedule:

  • On-site 5 days/week with schedule to support a 7 day/week retail operation.
  • Subject to change as business needs.

Office environment involves frequent standing, sitting, and walking. Daily administrative tasks require frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination for accurate typing, paperwork, and other tasks. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
