Position Summary
Tennessee’s leading residential retail mortgage lender, MIG, seeks an experienced Digital Lending Mortgage Loan Officer. This inside sales role demands professional tenacity, perseverance, and high integrity. The Digital Lending Loan Officer is responsible for driving mortgage lending business growth through our digital sales platform.
Essential Job Functions
Key Responsibilities:
Follow up on leads from various marketing sources and self-generate referral leads.
Solicit, originate, and facilitate the processing and closing of loan products for residential real estate transactions.
Analyze credit, income, assets, and employment to identify mortgage loan opportunities.
Provide necessary documentation to processing and underwriting departments to ensure timely loan closings.
Manage a large pipeline of business (50 loans).
Meet qualifications and standards required for DIGITAL LENDING LO Licensure under the Safe Act.
Experience with Velocify, Blue Sage, and Microsoft Office preferred.
Communicate effectively with consumers via telephone and email.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required; 2-Year Degree preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
Ability to analyze complex financial situations to determine optimal solutions for clients.
Experience with Conventional, Government, and Alt-A Lending.
Hands-on experience with DU/LP/GUS is helpful.
Previous mortgage or call center experience preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must hold or obtain necessary Federal NMLS License.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in mortgage origination/loan officer experience.

Ability to navigate throughout the building
Capable of sitting at a computer for 8 hours a day
