The Bengals are seeking a data-driven digital coordinator to manage the Bengals website. The ideal candidate will grow engagement and drive business goals on Bengals.com with a creative approach that optimizes the way content is created and displayed. Expertise in SEO and the ability to provide editorial contributions are preferred. This role reports to the Digital Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities
Serve as the chief strategist, managing all content publishing for Bengals.com while contributing to content ideation
Conceptualize and design pages and forms with the NFL’s content management system that achieve business goals (e.g., sales, fandom) through digital best practices
Use data-driven strategy and SEO to maximize content consumption on digital platforms
Oversee analytics for the website and develop thoughtful insights and dashboards to be shared with other departments, including annual review & refinement process
Work across multiple teams, educating cross-functional team members on digital best practices and managing end-to-end processes to bring initiatives to life through a strategic lens
Continuously research industry and technology trends that increase traffic/consumption
Collaborate on a content calendar to best schedule out distribution
Tag photos for content cataloging and internal SEO
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
2 years of experience in digital media, sports experience preferred
Technical knowledge of website standards, content management systems, SEO best practices, and digital trends
Strong project leadership, prioritization, assessment, organizational and time management skills with impeccable attention to detail
Strong writing skills
Ability to identify process improvements and problem-solve
Possesses creative mindset with strong digital aesthetic and UX sense
Ability to oversee multiple projects from start to finish and meet deadlines
Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator
Extended evening, weekend work hours are sometimes required. Required to work all home and away games.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript
Experience with the NFL CMS, Pocket
Experience with Adobe Analytics
