This is a role that will require presence in our Basildon, Essex and London offices on a regular basis.

Your Impact

Core Responsibilities:

• Uphold and advance our commitment to quality in every facet of the learner journey within Get Set UK.
• Lead the strategic direction for operational performance, aligning with our goals for growth and excellence.
• Lead market expansion, identifying and capitalising on new opportunities for skills development.
• Ensure the effective planning, execution, and evaluation of our skills operations, meeting financial and service objectives while driving business growth.
• Stay informed and proactive regarding national policies and developments in the skills sector, translating these insights into actionable strategies for Get Set UK.
• Build and sustain powerful relationships with all internal and external partners, enhancing our service delivery and operational achievements.
• Set a benchmark for service and financial performance, inspiring all business units to strive for excellence.
  
  

Leadership And Management

• Transform strategic plans into operational success, cultivating a culture of high achievement and accountability within Get Set UK.
• Recruit, inspire, and develop a high-performing senior management team, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.
• Address performance challenges decisively, fostering an environment of clear expectations and continuous improvement.
  
  

Financial Management

• Implement effective performance management to ensure the achievement of financial targets through detailed contract and resource management.
• Actively contribute to business planning and financial forecasting, securing Get Set UKs fiscal well-being and operational efficiency.
  
  

Partnership Development & Business Growth

• Champion professional growth initiatives, enhancing operational capabilities and market comprehension within Get Set UK.
• Forge and nurture strategic partnerships, driving business development and solidifying Get Set UKs position in the market.
  
  

Skills

Who We Seek:

• Analytical acumen paired with innovative problem-solving abilities.
• Expertise in strategic, operational, and financial planning.
• Stellar interpersonal and communication skills, adept at negotiations and influential presentations.
• Demonstrated decision-making proficiency, leading to effective and timely outcomes.

Ideal Candidate

• Around 10 years of leadership experience, specifically in operations, quality assurance, or skills development sectors.
• Experience of Apprenticeships and driving growth in this area.
• Full understanding of Ofsted and its processes.
• Strong background in stakeholder relationship management and strategic partnership development in fast-paced environments.
• A proven history of guiding teams to achieve and exceed benchmarks of excellence and efficiency.
