What is the job role?
We are excited to be recruiting to this new Children and Families Worker role within our Children’s Disability Service.
The post holder will be responsible for contributing to Children’s Education Health and Care Plans through gathering information about children’s social care needs This will require the post holder to have conversations ( during visits and phone calls) with family members who have a child with special educational needs/ disability.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

You will believe in providing a high-quality service that ensures that the child is at the heart of everything we do. You will need to have a positive attitude and the ability to work in a solution focussed way with families. You will be a good team player who is passionate about identifying appropriate interventions for children and families.
