To join our Investor Relations team at Sonae SGPS, we are currently looking for a:

Senior Investor Relations Analyst

Sonae Investor Relations office is responsible for ensuring that Sonae fulfils with market communication requirements and for being the first contact point to investors, market analysts and other stakeholders.

As a Senior IR Analyst, you’ll be constantly exposed to Sonae and its businesses top management teams, to their strategies and performance.

You’ll play a key role in supporting the communication with investors and the market for a better understanding of the Group and its fundamentals to support an adequate valuation.

Main Responsibilities

•        Develop key investor messages and Sonae equity story

•        Prepare quarterly results earnings announcements and presentations in accordance with capital market regulations

•        Follow up Sonae business unit’s performance and understand its drivers

•        Support to roadshows and investor meetings organization

•        Follow up ongoing ESG ratings and certification processes

•        Manage relationship with market analysts and track consensus

Main Requirements

•        Master’s in finance, business management or similar

•         5 year’s work experience 

•        Effective communication (verbal, written, and graphic) skills with high English language proficiency

•        Ability to develop and maintain business relationships

•        Strong analytical and financial skills

•    Strong understanding of financial reports, analytic methods, and financial data tools

•        Experience from investment banking or buy side/sell side institution (preferably)

•        Advanced MS Office user (Excel, Word and Power Point)

•        Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

•        Proactivity and great sense of ownership and responsibility

Work Location:

Hybrid mode (following the company policy: 3 days at the office)

The role should be developed in Oporto or Lisbon
