Your role and responsibilities
Work with Procurement on negotiations with event organizers and plan and execute live and virtual global events including industry trade shows, conferences, roadshows, partner events, and other events
Align with respective local Communications and Sales teams where the global event is taking place to ensure smooth execution
Develop and manage the event strategy aligning with the Communications team on messaging, content, operations, activation, and tracking
Plan and manage timelines, event resources/agencies, suppliers, and budget per an event
Ensure lead collection onsite and plan follow up with stakeholders
Analyze the effectiveness of our event initiatives, collect, and provide timely evaluations of various event activities, and make recommendations to optimize our end-to-end event experience
Work with communications and the automation manager to ensure that proper tracking and post-show nurture campaigns are in place
Responsible for event governance, suppliers and tools (briefs, etc.)
Qualifications For The Role
Besides your strong event marketing background, you have a university degree and a minimum of 8 -10 years related
experience along with a track record of success in managing events and promoting complex industrial solutions
You are comfortable working to a defined budget and within strict timelines. You can manage multiple stakeholders and
navigate a decentralized global organization
You understand the importance of lead collection and know how to optimize a company’s event presence to maximize
lead capture before, during and after an event
You have experience managing agencies and specialized event suppliers
You have a high level of attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. You are a
highly effective communicator and are comfortable presenting and working with multiple stakeholders
Experience with event applications and management tools, e.g. Cvent, ON24, Bizzabo, PowerPoint, Surveying tools
(Qualtrics or SurveyMonkey), Pardot, and SFDC are nice to have
You are comfortable with travelling to events internationally
