- Design and develop innovative wheel and braking systems for motorcycles, ensuring performance, safety, and reliability.
- Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of wheels and brake components using Creo CAD software.
- Conduct simulations and analyses to validate design concepts and optimize performance for both wheels and brakes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of wheels and brake systems.
- Perform design reviews, tolerance analyses, and DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) for wheels and brakes.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to motorcycle wheels and braking systems.
- Prepare and present technical reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in prototype testing and validation, analyzing results to inform design improvements for wheels and brakes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in motorcycle wheel and brake system design and development.
- Expertise in Creo 3D CAD software for modeling and drafting.
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques relevant to wheels and brake systems.
- Experience with simulation tools and techniques for performance and durability analysis.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to motorcycle wheels and braking systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Experience with other CAD software and simulation tools.
- Prior experience working in the motorcycle or automotive industry.
- Familiarity with project management and product lifecycle management (PLM) tools.
