Advisor Sustainability Chemicals and Materials (all genders)

Your tasks

• Key responsible for strategic consultancy support such as highlight and flag trends in the industry, benchmark our Divisional sustainability performances vs competitors & customers, assess & challenging our investment program regarding sustainability impact and lead the sustainability part of the Chemical & Materials (C&M) Strategy.
• Supporting and empowering business segments to achieve their sustainability agenda set by Group Sustainability and pro-actively steer the transition agenda of the business segments.
• Key responsible for operational consultancy support such as leading, translating and steering implementation of OMV's Sustainability framework, agenda and targets set by Group Sustainability for the C&M team.
• Lead all relevant sustanablity input and topics and support the respective business segmental Executive Board member and business segmental Senior Managers for all topics related to sustainability and transition steering including forward-looking GHG emission scenario analysis.
• Act as the key focal point translating the business segmental sustainablity agenda into value propositions vis-a-vis customers and other relevant external key stakeholders and support respective business segmental Executive Board members and business segmental senior managers with the communication and presentation.
• Knowledge-hub for sustainability-related issues within the business segment, providing expert input to the business segment for new developments and innovations necessary to achieve targets.
• Being the first point-of-contact for Group Sustainability for topics, sustainability and GHG data regarding the business segment.
• Monitoring implementation of measures necessary to achieve the sustainability agenda and targets according to the standards set by Group Sustainability and thereby supporting Group Sustainability in its coordination role.
• Pro-active participating in the Sustainability Coordination Forum, representing the business segment, preparing input and ensuring implementation of decisions made.

Your profile

• You have a Masters Degree in Sustainability Management or Economics.
• You have minimum 12 years of relevant professional experience.
• Deep understanding of the national and international sustainability agenda and requirements and its relevance for an Oil, Gas & Chemicals Company.
• Knowledge of the business segmental specific sustainability challenges, risks and opportunities.
• Expertise in Sustainability Management.
• Understanding of the national and international sustainability reporting requirements and standards including NFRD, CSRD and related EFRAG Standards.
