TheToolmakeris responsible for the repair and preventive maintenance of plastic injection molds.
Below Are Additional Duties And Responsibilities
Trouble-shooting, preventative maintenance, and repair of plastic molds and hot systems.
Daily use of toolroom equipment such as a mills, surface grinders, and lathes to facilitate mold repair or improvement.
Repair or request replacement parts, tooling or hardware as needed to maintain replacement inventory.
Set-up and operate all hand-tool equipment along with manual toolroom machines.
Coordinate with our internal new tooling group for specific operations or needs.
Understand and usage of toolroom inspection equipment as required.
Know and follow all Companys safety rules, such as safe work practices and standard operating procedures.
Serve as a good role model to employees for safe work practices and behavior by conducting yourself professionally, keeping in mind your own safety and the safety of others.
Any other duties as assigned.

Required Experience
A qualified Toolmaker candidate would fulfill these requirements:
General machining and mold building/maintaining experience; with additional classroom training preferred.
Experience with repairing and preventative maintenance of molds.
Experience with toolroom equipment such as a mills, surface grinders, and lathes.
Experience working with hot systems preferred.
Understanding of mold building and injection molding process preferred.
Lock out/Tag out and Forklift experience.
