As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Writer to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) National Data Buoy Center (NDBC).

This position is contingent on contract award.

Core responsibilities of the Technical Writer will include, but are not limited to

  • Write, edit, and format NDBC and contract specific documentation across all NDBC functions
  • Provide revision histories and maintain the library for all NDBC documents, procedures, instructions, etc.
  • Assist the Communications Lead and Graphics Artist as needed
  • Assist Configuration Management with document updates as required


Requirements of the Technical Writer

  • High School Diploma
  • 8 years of experience
