As a Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst II, you will play a critical role in our finance team, with responsibilities split between accounting (70%) and financial analysis (30%). You will be working with various business units across multiple countries, handling complex financial data, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage fixed asset roll-ups, including depreciation, amortization, and disposals
Prepare PPE roll forward reports and calculate CAPEX
Consolidate data from different locations into a cohesive financial schedule
Perform foreign exchange historic true ups for 50-60 different currencies
Conduct reconciliations and prepare monthly journal entries
Prepare and review income statements and balance sheets
Perform G/L accounting and variance analysis
Handle some intercompany transaction accounting
Utilize ERP systems (preferably Oracle) and Blackline for reconciliation
Use strong Excel skills to analyze and organize financial data
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required
Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting and financial analysis
Experience working for global, publicly held companies (Manufacturing or O&G required)
Strong understanding of accounting concepts and principles
Experience with fixed asset management and foreign exchange true ups
Proficient in reconciliations and journal entry preparation
Familiarity with Oracle and Blackline required
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to work late twice a month for month-end close
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
Must have experience with G/L accounting
Previous roles with extensive interaction with international business units
Certifications:
None required; however, CPA or CPA candidate preferred
Additional Information:
Onsite 4 days a week, telework one day a week.
The successful candidate should have the ability to work independently with little supervision, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize work effectively
Benefits:
Annual salary range $80,000 - $90,000 DOE
