Applicant must have 2 years of relevant experience with the following:
- Ability to speak and understand English
- Experience in social science, human services, or a related field, such as case manager or social worker
- Extensive reading and writing competencies
- Knowledge of confidentiality requirements
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and electronic records
- Experience using Microsoft Word
- Knowledge of the aging process and effects of chronic illness
- Ability to demonstrate a professional and courteous demeanour to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with the public and staff
- Knowledge of medical and social terminology
- Critical thinking
- Excellent typing skills at least 35 wpm
