Operations Manager

FLEX College Prep Cupertino, CA

FLEX College Prep is seeking a dynamic and organized leader to be responsible for profitable and efficient center and online operations. The duties of this role include training and developing administrative and customer service staff, planning for and scheduling classes and programs, managing facilities, and creating processes and procedures that improve the operations and presentation of FLEX services. Training is provided.

What you’ll do:

Operations

  • Oversee completion of all administrative tasks related to FLEX services, ensuring efficient and effective operations both in-person and online
  • Manage facilities; coordinate lease agreements, utilities, etc with payroll; maintain professional center aesthetic; and assume full responsibility for the upkeep of the center to ensure the best presentation to guests and most efficient operation
  • Oversee administrative teams in their current and prospective student management, as well as tracking data relating to current customer satisfaction and student progress
  • Create, implement, and assess standard operating procedures.
  • Oversee client billing process

Sales Support

  • Support post-sale service fulfillment, proactively ensuring superb customer experience, and maintaining program data and analytics
  • Support the sales team with prospective student management by answering phones, scheduling meetings, administering diagnostic exams etc., or overseeing admin staff to do so

Training & Development

  • Supervise administrative staff; approve timesheets, schedule center coverage, and provide performance feedback
  • Hire and train new team members as needed
  • Act as a resource for continued training, as needed

Where you’ll do it:

  • This position will be based out of our Northern California Region, primarily working at our FLEX Cupertino office.
  • Responsible for overseeing our Northern California Region (travel may be required)

Requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • 5 years experience in administrative or operations role
  • 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills, deadline-driven and detail-oriented
  • Possess strong leadership traits
  • Previous experience in education administration or related fields
  • Extremely polished and professional demeanor
