Marketing Specialist

Job Summary:

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of the marketing calendar, including events, campaigns, and communications while supporting various marketing initiatives. Possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and marketing knowledge. You will support the planning, budgeting, scheduling, and tracking of various client-facing initiatives, such as campaigns and events, as well as CSR internal initiatives, providing project-specific support and related administrative tasks as required.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Support the marketing team with planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing efforts
  • Assist with the execution of marketing materials and collateral.
  • Help organize and coordinate internal and external events such as celebrations, tradeshows, events, conferences, and grand openings
  • Produce support material such as PowerPoint presentations for multiple initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely marketing materials and assets delivery
  • Create agendas, presentations, and reports on key performance indicators
  • Provide administrative and project support for a variety of marketing programs.
  • Support setup and dismantling of marketing efforts
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels, including social media, email, and content marketing
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Basic understanding of AI (artificial intelligence, SEO principles, and paid campaigns)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role or industry is preferred
  • Experience with marketing tools such as Google Analytics, HUBSPOT, Hey Orca, Constant Contact, etc. is preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
