Position Summary

Our Loan Assistants have a passion for building relationships, filling customer needs and

delivering excellent customer service. The person in this position is the face of First Bank Texas

and uses their creativity, curiosity, and relationship skills to exceed customer expectations.

You will provide expert financial advice and great service, while adhering to established Bank

policies, procedures, and objectives. Performs any function, within scope of authority and

expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers and co-workers.

Strive for excellence in conducting needs-based conversations to identify solutions for customers.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining customer relationships by using our needs-based solution development process. Being fully knowledgeable and skilled in the Loan Assistant position.
• Adhering and complying with lending procedures including compliance requirements for both personal and business account relationships
• Assisting loan officers and other personnel to ensure proper related documentation is prepared and or provided.
• Sets up and maintains credit and other files for documentation compliance and exception monitoring, vehicle title work and UCC filings.
• Assures compliance with all Bank policies, procedures and procesess, and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules and regulation, and adheres to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)

Desired Qualifications

• At least three (3) years banking experience
• Experience with needs-based selling
• Excellent interpersonal skills – verbal and listening proficiency
• Strong attention to detail
• Passion for providing outstanding customer service to all clients
