The Role

As a Jr. Human Resources Representative, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR Business Partners, HR Operations, and Talent Acquisition team in various aspects of HR functions. This role involves active participation in onboarding, offboarding, staffing, culture promotion, payroll, and various HR initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of HR programs, assisting with recruitment, assisting with Payroll, HR operations, and contributing to the positive workplace culture.

This role will report to the Human Resources & Employee Relations Manager, be based in Peachtree City and have the flexibility to work remotely one day a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the New Hire Onboarding & Orientation program, including new hire communications, paperwork, and training.
  • Facilitate the offboarding process for terminated employees, ensuring a smooth transition by scheduling exit interviews, assisting in the collection of Company assets, and providing the necessary information regarding benefits and final pay.
  • Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
  • Conducts employee stay and exit interviews.
  • Provide backup and assistance for the Payroll Specialist to include processing the bi-weekly payroll and functions associated therewith.
  • Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Assists in maintaining Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database.
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
  • Implements and interprets management policies and operating practices for the purpose of achieving department objectives and ensuring compliance with administrative requirements.
  • Responds to inquiries from employees and/or external parties for the purpose of resolving issues, facilitating communication among parties, and/or providing information or direction.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Professional Experience & Qualifications

  • 1-2 years experience in human resources management.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.

Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience. It will include a base salary, an annual performance bonus, and other exceptional benefits.
