This position is accountable for ensuring continuity of computer system services for computer users by providing the technical expertise, assistance, and project coordination necessary to install computer software products, modify/repair hardware and resolve technical problems. Assists with daily operations, security, maintenance and upgrades for Syracuse Area Health’s information systems.
This position is a Full Time, Benefited, Monday-Friday day shift position, totaling 40 hours per week and includes on-call rotation.
Associations Degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of the use and support of personal computers, servers, network architecture and operating systems, and is able to demonstrate familiarity with the operations and support of networked peripheral devices.
Healthcare IT and virtual infrastructure experience preferred
Demonstrated experience in the support of Windows networks and the associated software applications which are commonly associates with these applications and/or certification preferred
