The Farm & Commercial Underwriting Manager leads Grange Insurance Association’s (GIA) farm and commercial underwriting team. The incumbent serves as an in-house farm and commercial underwriting expert and shares product and market knowledge with staff and the leadership.
This position is located in the Greater Seattle area and uses a hybrid work environment.
Clarify and implement business strategies, create alignment with company strategies, and adeptly identify and pursue new opportunities in order to achieve a balanced, profitable and quality book of business while protecting Company assets
Develop and maintain highly effective business relationships with agents, brokers and clients in order to attract, develop/grow and retain profitable business
Execute on department and company-wide initiatives around product development, processes, underwriting policy and strategy
