We are looking for a Documentation Specialist/Administrator. This role focuses on providing essential support and management for our organization's document management system, Open Text's Content Server, internally known as Client. As a key member of the Client support team, the Application Support Analyst will engage in the administration, upkeep, issue resolution, and user support of Client. Collaboration with product teams and product owners to enhance the software delivery process through documentation and improvement initiatives is crucial. This role demands a technologically agile candidate ready to learn and collaborate across diverse teams.

Main Responsibilities

  • Participate in testing Client workflows, updates, upgrades, and newly developed solutions by the administration team.
  • Develop and distribute communication and training materials as needed.
  • Facilitate daily operational support for the Client system.
  • Coordinate system access for organizational changes including new hires, departures, promotions, and transfers.
  • Organize departmental, managerial, and project team folder structures within Client.
  • Team up with colleagues to deliver exceptional customer support for Client.
  • Oversee and periodically validate Client access groups designated for management teams, using HR provided data.
  • Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with end-users and leadership to ensure a high level of acceptance and engagement with Client.
  • Contribute to user training for current and new system functionalities.
  • Generate new access groups for project teams upon request and modify permissions as needed.
  • Support content migration initiatives within Client.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience with document management systems such as Content Server, Extended ECM, Documentum, One Drive/SharePoint.
  • Commitment to producing detailed and high-quality outputs.
  • Proven ability to devise and implement test plans based on functional requirements.
  • Proficient in creating user guides and instructional materials.
  • Skilled in problem-solving and technical support provision.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and requirements.
