Director of Revenue Optimization
In this pivotal role, you will lead the resort’s revenue, marketing, and sales strategy, by overseeing and optimizing revenue performance through comprehensive analytical expertise and strategic collaboration with our marketing and revenue-generating teams.

Revenue Strategy and Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase room and ancillary revenues (e.g., outlet, golf cart rental, recreation, golf, and spa) Coach revenue-generating departments on developing effective strategies and aggressive goals to enhance financial performance and improve cost and margins.
Leadership & Development: Provide direct oversight of resort sales, marketing, revenue management, special events, and business relations. Provide training and development for direct reports, including Sales Manager, Catering Manager, Revenue Manager, Marketing Manager, and Reservation Manager.
Marketing Management: Oversee the production and execution of the resort’s marketing plan and evaluate its effectiveness in driving revenue.
Brand Advocacy: Act as a passionate brand ambassador, enhancing the guest experience and consumer journey.
Business Planning: Develop and execute the annual business plan, assigning responsibility and quantifiable goals to direct reports.
Financial Oversight: Manage Sales & Marketing pages of the P&L and ensure accurate revenue forecasting.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: 10 plus years as a resort Director of Sales and Marketing, Director of Revenue Management, or General Manager in the hotel industry.Full-service hotel experience, ideally in a comparable sized property scope. Pre-opening experience a plus.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational management and analytical skills.
Innovative Thinking: Ability to challenge business processes and concepts to drive results.
Communication: Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills and comfortable with public speaking.
Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to bring people together to work as a team and ensure success.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with PNSs, CRSs, RMSs, 3rd party sites, rate shopping tools, web booking engines, mobility and reputation dashboards. Intermediate or expert level in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, and booking software like TravelClick and iHotelier.
Revenue Management Systems: Monitor and modify inventory controls through applicable revenue management systems and communicate with the strategy team.
