We are looking for a Data Technical Leader who will help build out & develop best in class work and work on innovative projects for the business. They are moving from legacy SSIS to Azure solutions. They need someone with Snowflake- very key for this role. Must have experience gathering requirements around data needs, relaying that information in user story form or technically to the dev/engineering team and helping to lead both onsite and offsite team.

Job Title: Data Technical Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Data Technical Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data migration, exceptional technical skills in ETL, SSIS, Cloud (azure preferred), Snowflake, and proven leadership abilities. .Must be able to do some hands on work as needed to help the team as well so not afraid to get your hands dirty.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

• Master or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Computer related discipline, or equivalent experience required
• Senior level regarding years of experience to understand both the legacy environment in addition to the new environment being created.
• ETL / ELT Design, development and implementation experience using standard ETL/ ELT tools
• SQL Development
• Experience defining and managing ETL / ELT using tools and industry standard practices.
• 3 years of any cloud experience -they are Azure
• Strong Snowflake experience
• SSIS/SSRS
• Experience leading, coaching, and providing mentorship to ETL developers in an agile environment.
• Hands-on and deep experience using Star/Snowflake for schema design, data modeling, data pipelines.
• Any experience working in the manufacturing industry is a big plus
