The Chief Quality Officer of Quality Management and Regulatory Compliance (QMRC) is responsible for planning, administration, and monitoring of consistent readiness of all quality management, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement processes.
Responsibilities
The Chief Quality Officer of QMRC will oversee and coordinate all hospital efforts to monitor and maintain compliance with all regulatory, State, Federal government, and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization standards. The position reports directly to the CEO.
Qualifications
Must have a nursing or other clinical healthcare license/degree. Minimum of three years in an acute care facility and demonstrates a clear working knowledge of general hospital operations, Joint Commission, OSHA, Medicare Conditions of Participation, and state requirements. Minimum of two years experience in Quality Management required. Must have coordinated Joint Commission preparation and participated in State and CMS surveys within past three years.
Current license as Registered Professional Nurse or other health care professional.
Advance certificate and training preferred.
