Position Overview:
We are seeking a Research Assistant to support the development of our new personality test. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychology, psychometrics, or a related field, with experience in test development and statistical analysis. This role involves conducting research, designing test items, analyzing data, and ensuring the reliability and validity of the test.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and Development:
Conduct literature reviews on existing personality tests and psychological theories.
Assist in the development of a theoretical framework for the new personality test.
Write and refine test items to measure specific personality traits.
Data Collection and Analysis:
Organize and conduct pilot testing with sample groups.
Analyze data using statistical software to ensure reliability and validity.
Assist in norming the test with a larger, representative sample.
Technical Support:
Collaborate with the technical team to develop the test interface.
Ensure the automation of scoring and report generation.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct reliability and validity testing.
Continuously improve the test based on feedback and new research.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Psychometrics, or a related field.
Experience in test development and psychometrics.
Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R).
Strong research and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in developing personality tests or similar assessments.
Knowledge of ethical guidelines and data privacy regulations related to psychological testing.
Familiarity with online survey platforms and test administration tools.
