The university System wishes to cater for those who were unable to complete their formal education and wish to do so now or wish to attain further skills. These may include people who are already working and wish to go back to education to improve their career prospects. They also cater for students who are having difficulties with secondary education and want additional academic support. They may also be people who have been driven away from education due to external or internal factors.

The Role
- Preparing Health and Social care teaching and learning materials.
- Providing guidance and advice to students on education and on their further education and careers.
- Providing feedback to students through consultation evenings, phone calls or written communication as appropriate.
- Contributing to department planning and self-evaluation.
- Permanent role.
- Salary £30,000.
- 1 years teaching experience in a further education role in the UK.
- Masters degree.
- An enhanced DBS registered to the update service (If you do not hold this, we can arrange for you at a cost of £44, which is refundable once you have completed ten days in your new role.)
- Knowledge of the UK Secondary Curriculum and the subjects.
- 2 education-based references in the last 24 months.
- A passion for teaching.
- Good approach to behaviour management.
- A determined, hard-working attitude.
