As a Front-End Web Developer at CISI, you'll be instrumental in designing and developing engaging, user-friendly web and app experiences for our members. Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to deliver high-quality solutions that push the boundaries of technology. You'll handle everything from crafting responsive user interfaces with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, to optimising web applications for maximum speed and scalability. Your responsibilities will also include staying up-to-date with the latest trends, integrating front-end code with server-side logic, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvement.
Front-End Web Developer Requirements
3-5 years of experience in front end web development.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Experience with Bootstrap.
Experience with React.js or similar front end frameworks/libraries.
Experience with Adobe Photoshop and preparing assets for the web.
Understanding of REST APIs and XML based web services.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of Sitefinity CMS.
Experience or familiarity with building Progressive Web Apps.
Awareness of accessibility principles and experience in implementing accessible web solutions according to WCAG guidelines.

Competitive salary ranging from £47,000pa to £50,000pa, based on experience
7½% company pension contribution into a personal pension, in addition to your own contribution of 1½% via salary exchange

24 days full-time equivalent and additionally the Institute closes for three days between Christmas and New Year.
