We are looking for a General Manager for SEA & Kazakstan. The incubment will act as the General manager with full P&L and People responsibility of the business. Drive the global operational and strategic agenda as a part of the Operational committee of Diaverum. Drive the implementation of the Diaverum strategy, vision, mission, value proposition, brand and values in the respective country/region. Coach and follow up performance of country managers and other key managers in the respective country and make sure succession is secured. Leverage knowledge trabsfer to bring added value and improved resource effectiveness.
Role & Responsibilities
Create and drive the strategic direction of the region and act as an ambassador and change agent to make sure that the Diaverum culture and values is a living reality and a competitive advantage
Responsible for the financial performance of the region including full P&L responsibility, closely monitoring of the business performance of the countries and securing professional financial forecasts and budgeting
Own regional business results by proactive performance management of the countries including capturing business opportunities but also by early detection and anticipation and escalation of business obstacles and risks. Define mitigating actions and secure alignment in the respective local organisation
Ensure productivity and clinic performance by challenging and supporting and through collection and spreading of good examples and best practises between countries, including the utilization of key competencies across markets
Drive the Organic Growth agenda for the region by closely monitoring patients flow for the region and ensure development, implementation and follow up of the clinic action plans. Attract and retain patients by using the collective knowhow of international colleagues and by spreading best practices, agreed and defined with respective country management team
Securing the management of an efficient Supply chain but also Technology and Asset management in the countries within the region
Develop, implement, monitor and follow up the clinic action plans to attract and retain patients by using the collective knowhow of international colleagues and by spreading best practises, agreed and defined with respective country management team
Drive the inorganic expansion agenda by continuously investigating new business opportunities in both existing and adjacent markets, directly or through the respective country organisation.
Support the due diligence and investment process and successful integration of new business – with operational and financial performance quickly up to speed and according to plan
Provide leadership - coach, challenge, motivate and support the country managers and other key managers. Keep track and closely monitor regional talents to secure internal succession
Make sure the countries always comply with internal and external minimum medical quality requirements and other internal processes and standards. Ensure that patient safety is priority number 1 through recruitment, retention and education of committed care-givers.
Lead and set examples for service leadership standard to create customer value and increase customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Education:
University degree in Business Administration or similar
Experience
Experience in management role with full P&L responsibility: 7 years
Has successfully managed company revenues and return on those revenues, has in depth experience in managing operational, financial and human capital. Proven track record of leading and driving profitable growth
Working experience in the healthcare services industry
Working experience in a multinational environment
Previous experience as Country Manager
Languages
