SoftServe is rapidly expanding its presence in the APAC region, particularly focusing on serving the public sector in Singapore. We are dedicated to augmenting our portfolio of public sector clientele through advisory-led delivery in key domains such as Data, AI, Cloud, and bespoke app development. GCC architect role is pivotal in fortifying our public sector team, with a primary focus on designing and implementation of infrastructure achitecture and specific solutions to address the concerns of SoftServe’s clients within the Singapore public sector. The incumbent will drive proposal preparations, collaboration the offshore centers of excellence, forming the engineering team and ensure the development according to the latest technology standards.

YOU ARE

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

· Minimum 5 years of experience designing and architecting cloud solutions, with 2 years of focus on GCC or similar government cloud platforms.

· Proficient in designing and implementing GCC solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP) for government agencies, ensuring alignment with government agency Enterprise Architecture.

· Familiarity with IM8, Application Infrastructure Architecture Standard (AIAS), and cloud security and compliance requirements.

· Hands-on experience with DevOps/DevSecOps using SHIP (Secure Hybrid Integration Pipeline) and HATS (Hive Agile Testing Solutions) CI/CD tools.

· Professional certification in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) preferred.

· Extensive IT domain experience, encompassing public cloud architecture and hybrid applications spanning both cloud and data center environments.

· Proven track record of working with public sector agencies hosted in GCC.

· Proficiency in cloud technologies and services, particularly AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

· Strong understanding of cloud security principles, encryption techniques, and identity/access management.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

· Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.

· Implementation of innovative approaches to the Cloud Development Life Cycle (CDLC) and progress tracking, incorporating agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and automation tools to streamline development, deployment, and security testing processes.

· Support from an experienced leadership team and the full backing of the delivery organization, including access to security experts, architects, and Centers of Excellence, providing guidance, mentorship, and resources to enable success in architecting secure and scalable cloud solutions.

TOGETHER WE WILL

· Review and guide the architecture of internal and external projects to ensure the architecture meets the GCC requirements, IM8 policies, and AIAS requirements;

· Work with and coach teams in GCC architecture design patterns

· Defining, designing, implementing, and operating components of cloud computing architecture

· Identifying and resolving the highest level of escalated cloud technical issues, and leading processes for backup recovery

· Working with stakeholders to develop solutions and identify opportunities

· Lead deep technical architecture discussions with senior customer executives, internal and external architects, IT managers, and developers

· Collaborating with a tech team of application developers, engineers, and designers to deliver innovative cost-effective technology solutions using cloud services

· Collecting and defining technical requirements to enable business processes and integrations

· Establishing an approximate level of effort and staffing requirements for complex cloud projects
