Comprehensive consultation and mentoring of the Group & Event organiser under consideration of the client’s detailed needs & expectations with the goal to ensure optimal utilisation and selling of the hotel’s conference & sleeping rooms and revenue maximisation in compliance with Kempinski standards.
Key Responsibilities
Managing event logistics and operations, in collaboration with the other departments involved.
Conducting site inspections and coordinating the department involved to prepare all concerned areas in light of the visit.
Supporting and coordinating with the Director of Sales and Marketing
Ensuring that events progress in line with the client’s expectations, collaborating with other employees, and ensuring accuracy.
Up-selling products and services throughout the event booking process.
Redacting offers, contracts and preparing pro-forma invoices when necessary, with the support of the rest of the events team.
Ensuring billing accuracy and reviewing documentation with the clients before processing the final bill.
Managing group room blocks and meeting spaces.
Solving problems related to the event and/or suggesting alternatives to previous arrangements.
Engaging with guests to gain feedback on product and service quality.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Good knowledge of Opera PMS
At least 2 years of previous experience in the hospitality business (luxury field is preferred)
Excellent proficiency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming
Sales and guest relations skills
