Job Title: QA Engineer (Quality Assurance) Experience: 2-4 years

Job Description

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of the product. You will work closely with the development team to understand customer requirements, fine- tune and measure their performance. Your role will involve thorough testing, validation, and verification of the product, as well as providing feedback and recommendations for improvements. The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of relevant experience in QA, possess strong Python & SQL skills, Should have knowledge of Node.js and Angular for web application testing and have previous experience as a QA Auditor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough testing of software applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to the development of test plans.
• Utilize hands-on experience in Python and SQL to design and execute test cases, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Node.js and Angular for effective testing of web applications.
• Investigate and report software defects, ensuring clear communication with the development team.
• Design, implement, and execute automated testing scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, adapting to dynamic project requirements.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to identify and address potential issues proactively.
• Work in a startup environment, showcasing adaptability and a proactive attitude.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs and incorporate them into testing processes.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in QA roles.
• Proficient in Python and SQL for manual testing and test automation.
• Knowledge of Node.js and Angular for web application testing.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Must be a Quick learner, Good in analysis, Good in documentation and test spec preparation, ability to think negative scenarios and corner cases along with positive scenarios while doing QA/Validation.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment.
