Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Counselor with a background in IT educational counseling to join our team. The Senior Counselor will be responsible for providing comprehensive counseling services to students, assisting them in making informed decisions about their education and career paths.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students to understand their educational goals, interests, strengths, and challenges.
• Provide guidance and support to students in selecting appropriate courses, certifications, and career pathways based on their skills and aspirations.
• Assist students in developing personalized academic plans and setting achievable goals.
• Offer information about various educational programs, admission requirements, scholarships, and financial aid options.
• Address students' concerns, academic difficulties, and emotional challenges through counseling and referral to appropriate resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 3 -6 years of experience in educational counseling or advising, preferably in a higher education or training institute.
• Strong knowledge of educational systems, academic programs, and career pathways.
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Empathetic and supportive approach to counseling students from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with assessment tools, career inventories, and counseling techniques.
