What You'll Do:
Install, configure, and support Cisco routers and switches.
Update network equipment to the latest firmware releases.
Install and configure Cisco Nexus 9K family from installation to commissioning.
Configure and manage VXLAN and WAN technologies.
Monitor and report network status to key stakeholders.
Replace faulty network hardware components as needed.
Ensure network security and connectivity.
Provide Level 3 support for network-related issues.
Troubleshoot connectivity issues across firewalls, load balancers, and proxies.
Resolve complex network problems using creative and innovative solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability and performance.
Communicate effectively with the technology community to coordinate network changes and updates.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation.
Report network performance and issues to stakeholders.
Expertise You'll Bring:
Strong knowledge in Routing and Switching technologies: BGP, OSPF, VPC, Multicast, RSTP, MSTP, NAT, PBR, FHRP.
Proficiency in WAN technologies: MPLS, IPSEC, GRE, VPN, DMVPN.
In-depth exposure to Cisco ACI.
Practical experience with Cisco Nexus 9K family.
Good understanding of IPSEC, GRE, and GETVPN.
Knowledge of switching technologies: VPC, FHRP, STP, LACP.
Familiarity with Cisco SDWAN solutions (Viptela) is a plus.
Significant experience in troubleshooting connectivity issues across various network devices.
Excellent problem analysis and solving skills with a creative, out-of-the-box approach.
Excellent communication and coordination skills within the technology community.
Ability to report technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work under high pressure in challenging environments.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
