Commercial tendering, negotiation and execution of purchasing activities for assigned categories and projects – e.g. selecting bidders, structuring contracts, and negotiating commercial conditions
Preparing and negotiating frame agreements, identifying strategic vendor alliances, qualifying and developing new vendors
Implementing advanced negotiation tactics, supporting in claims-management and the negotiation of change-orders, and conducting commercial closeout activities
Performing benchmark- and market analysis, global collaboration with key stakeholders and close alignment with the Engineering and Project Execution organizations
Working on digitalization and automatization initiatives with a focus on LEAN processes and agile methods
Supporting and driving the continuous improvement of procurement strategies and processes
What Makes You Great
Excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, an open mindset, and the ability to think outside the box
Willingness to take full ownership and a talent for finding workable solutions within a complex environment
Academic degree in business administration, engineering or science (Bachelor, Master or equivalent) or a comparable mix of commercial education and experience
Several years of professional experience in the field of procurement of capital goods and/or (large-scale) project business
Ambitious, independent and target-oriented individual with a strong can-do attitude and an intense focus on the details
Enthusiasm for the digital transformation of procurement with the use of LEAN, agile methods
Knowledge of procurement SAP modules and tools is advantageous, as well as an adequate proficiency in Microsoft Office
Fluent in English and German; additional languages are also beneficial
