About the Company: Our client is a large logistics company dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and maintaining robust network infrastructure across multiple sites. We are seeking a seasoned Network Engineer with extensive experience in managing complex network environments to join our team for a 6-month contract.

Job Summary: As a Network Engineer (remote), you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing network infrastructure across 17 sites. Your expertise in Check Point Firewalls, Cisco Switches, Cisco Routers, Azure Cloud Networking, and Juniper Access Points will be crucial in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our network systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage network solutions to support 17 sites.
• Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot 40-50 Check Point Firewalls.
• Manage, monitor, and optimize approximately 400 Cisco Switches.
• Configure and support Cisco Routers to ensure reliable network performance.
• Utilize Azure Cloud Networking solutions for cloud infrastructure and connectivity.
• Implement and maintain Juniper Access Points to ensure seamless wireless connectivity.
• Perform regular network performance analysis and capacity planning.
• Respond to network incidents and provide timely resolutions.
• Ensure network security through proactive monitoring and implementing best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects.
• Create and maintain detailed network documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in network engineering.
• Extensive experience with Check Point Firewalls.
• Proficient in configuring and managing Cisco Switches and Routers.
• Strong understanding of Azure Cloud Networking.
• Experience with Juniper Access Points.
• Solid understanding of network security principles and practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, Check Point Certified Expert, Azure Certifications).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in network management within a large enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools and techniques.
