Position Summary:

The Boutique Attendant is responsible for all duties related to the operation of the boutique. Those duties include, but are not limited to, opening the boutique on time, greeting guests of Edgewood, answering phone calls, selling merchandise, assisting guests with information, keeping the boutique tidy, closing the boutique and register in accordance with company policies. The most important characteristic of our team is that we love inspiring lasting memories for our guests. In this position you exhibit excellence in your commitment to our guests. Essential Functions:

  • Open the boutique on time.
  • Prepare the shop and register for the business day.
  • Answer the boutique telephone in a friendly tone and with the required greeting.
  • Continually check boutique floor. Straighten, clean and restock merchandise as needed.
  • Greet all guests upon their first arrival to the boutique.
  • Proper grooming is mandatory. Team Members must have hair neatly combed; shave daily, and wear ironed or pressed shirts and pants, clean and polished shoes and a belt.
  • Close boutique and registers, properly counting cash drawer and dropping the bank securely in the company safe.
  • Make sure doors are securely locked for the evening.
  • Always check the Edgewood Events Schedule and be aware of all property events and activities.
  • Be knowledgeable of Edgewood hours and amenities.
  • Unbelievable customer service is our number one priority.
  • Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
  • Qualifications / Special Skills:
  • High School diploma, plus business and retail related specialized training, or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills necessary.
  • Demonstrated decision-making abilities and ability to work under changing conditions and periods of changing priorities.
  • Available to work varied shifts when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
