Public Relations Account Executive

Brilliant PR & Marketing, one of the most respected and rapidly growing agencies focused on family-oriented brands, seeks a Full-time Account Executive to help support the agency’s growing, award-winning team.

So what’s Brilliant all about? We are a unique PR agency with nearly 30 team members who all work remotely across the US. We give our team the resources they need to get their work done without having to sit in a cubicle or stuffy office. We prioritize connecting with each other and creating a sense of community. Although we are remote, team members are expected to be available online during regular business hours, and there is occasional travel for events.

• 3 years of PR experience in the consumer products industry
• Doesn’t hesitate to manage up and down and have their voice heard
• Enjoys crossing things off your to-do list
• Teaching others and in turn, learning, is equally important for them
• Resourceful, committed, and deliberate
• Reads media, scrolls TikTok, and enjoys finding new brands and trends
• Shares in brainstorms and isn’t afraid to come up with and try new ideas while encouraging others to speak up
• Wants to be a part of a small but strong and mighty team
• Appreciates the art of public relations and all of the moving parts

Job Description:

• Work within the framework of a supportive 3-4 person team that will depend upon you to execute fundamental account tasks, while simultaneously leading clients’ campaigns, strategies, events, and activations.
• A strong project manager who keeps track of deadlines and truly drives the account team train
• Work with senior staff to develop detailed brand strategies, campaigns, and activations
• Thoughtful about communications internally and externally
• Creative, passionate, and strategic in helping clients increase brand awareness and sales
• Builds and maintains strong media relationships with national print, online, and broadcast outlets
• Creating, planning, and carrying out influencer campaigns, both paid and earned
• Acts as the main point of contact on multiple accounts and communicates clearly, effectively, and confidently via zoom and email
• Familiarity with Cision, Muck Rack, TV Eyes, Creator IQ, or comparable platforms
• Familiarity with TikTok, Meta, and YouTube
