The job

Oversees a variety of projects within the Regulatory Affairs Unit from ideation to completion by identifying issues, providing solutions and monitoring tasks to ensure projects stay on schedule.

You will

  • Assists with triaging regulatory matters released by plan regulators.
  • Coordinates with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Develops comprehensive and detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
  • Manages changes to project scope and schedule.
  • Exercises creativity and flexibility by determining the appropriate combination of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques for assigned projects.
  • Tracks project performance to analyze the completion of short- and long-term goals.
  • Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation.
  • Prepares status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
  • Maintains confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as requested by Director.
  • Actively support the achievement of SCAN’s Vision and Goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of experience in Managed Health Care required.
  • 2 to 3 Years of experience in Regulatory Compliance preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of project management principles and methods.
  • Ability to work effectively and participate in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently, organize workflow, adhere to timelines and function in a complex, fast paced environment.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously, with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain strong working relationships with senior and mid-level management and facilitate open communication.
  • Ability to advise senior management of compliance related risks and provide recommendations for improvement.
