We are hiring a Pastoral Ministries Coordinator as a member of our Resident Life Team. This individual will plan, develop and implement programs that focus on the spiritual life of the community. This is a full time position. Compensation: commensurate with experience between $58,000 - $65,000 annually
How You Will Make An Impact
Managing all pastoral functions, including establishing faith communities on campus, providing opportunities for worship, education, and outreach
Developing and maintaining relationships with incoming residents concerning their religious preferences and interests
Connecting with area clergy and congregations to be informed of accessibility and programs
Leading functions to enhance the atmosphere of outreach and fellowship in the community
Ensuring that appropriate notifications occur for resident deaths, funerals, and hospitalizations in accordance with state regulations
Acting as a liaison between Pastoral Ministries and Continuing Care

What You Will Need
Graduate degree from an accredited seminary or divinity school preferred.
Ordination credentials preferred.
Four units were completed in a Clinical Pastoral Education program.
2 years work experience in a chaplain role in hospice, hospital, or skilled nursing facility preferred.
