About The Role

The Federal Enterprise Account Executive role at NinjaOne is responsible for achieving sales and profitability objectives by expanding our footprint within federal government agencies. Reporting to the VP of Federal, this strategic role will contribute significantly to the success of NinjaOne by focusing on establishing and growing relationships within the federal sector. As the expert in the vertical you will drive NinjaOne's adoption within federal agencies by aligning our solutions and products with their IT operational challenges. Core responsibilities include pipeline building, prospecting, territory planning, relationship development, and managing full sales cycles from prospecting to deal close.

Location: Remote in Virginia

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within federal agencies.
  • Secure discovery meetings and conduct discovery calls to understand federal IT needs and challenges.
  • Build and maintain an up-to-date pipeline of prospects to achieve sales goals within the federal sector.
  • Prospect and plan territory effectively to identify and engage net new federal accounts.
  • Conduct presentations and product demos tailored to federal IT requirements.
  • Manage sales cycles from initial prospecting through to deal closure.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, channel partners, and sales engineers to drive opportunities and close deals.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and strategies for the federal market.

About You:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, specifically with SaaS and cloud-based solutions.
  • Proven experience in selling into IT departments within the federal government.
  • Strong knowledge of networking and security solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with federal clients.
  • Resourceful and able to leverage team resources to win deals.
  • Demonstrated track record of establishing new business and winning new accounts.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Experience giving technical demos and conducting thorough discovery calls.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
