JOB SUMMARY: The Division of Sciences is seeking new team members to join the science faculty in providing a practical, hands on, fervent education to a highly engaged student body. Candidates may choose from a variety of classes. The division of sciences is flexible to considering individuals with multidisciplinary experience and backgrounds. Interest in either single courses or combinations of courses will be considered. Adjuncts will be highly supported by the instructor coordinator and other science faculty. For many courses the instructors may be provided with course materials and content to ensure highest possible quality and the success of course delivery.
We have potential needs of instructors across the sciences including Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physical Sciences
Under the direction of the Instructor Coordinator of the academic program, adjunct faculty receive a contract or letter stating adjunct employment with a primary responsibility in teaching.
Faculty members assess, plan, implement and evaluate instruction for students in clinical and classroom settings or laboratories in coordination with established course and program objectives. Serving University of Saint Francis (USF) students and the USF community is paramount. Major Responsibilities/Activities
Adheres to all applicable university academic and employment policies identified in the Employee and Faculty handbooks and academic catalogs

Minimum Qualifications
Education
Masters or graduate degree in the field of study required.
Experience
One to two year’s teaching or training experience preferred.
Two to three year’s professional experience within the field preferred.
Knowledge And Skills
Demonstrates an understanding of educational theory, instructional methods and evaluation technique and use of technology utilized in higher education in a classroom setting.
Demonstrates analytical and organizational skills necessary to plan, implement and evaluate educational activities to assure compliance with established goals and objectives.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written, necessary to interact effectively with all university constituents.
